It is very possible that you are pregnant. The pill is too much to REMEMBER? Is that baby going to be too much to REMEMBER?

If you stopped taking the pill when you were not supposed to this could be what is called break through bleeding. However, to be sure you must make an appointment with your doctor.

Hun that is what you think right now.

Either get back on the pill and set your alarm to take the pill or use birth control, but you are not ready to be a mother yet.

I am glad that you did not get upset with my response. Sometimes it takes a little "slap" in the face to wake up and see reality.

Hun, I was 22 and married when I had my first one, my 4th and last one was born when I was 38. I look back and know that at 22 I was not nearly ready, so I cannot imagine having one at the tender age of 16, when all of your friends are out partying and you are at home making formula and changing diapers.

Please make that appointment, you deserve a chance to be a teenager.

Sweetie, you will cross that bridge when you come to it. You don't even know if you are pregnant yet. As I said, it sounds like breakthrough bleeding which is not uncommon when you start the pill and then abruptly stop it.

Worrying can only cause problems with your periods. It will make them late, or make you miss it all together.

The best thing for you right now would be to visit your doctor and get a pregnancy test. If the pill is too much for you to worry about and you never remember it, you might want to consider the patch.

But remember, no matter what method of birth control you use, pregnancy is always a possibility (my first two were conceived while I was on the pill and I took it religiously), you may want to consider abstinence. It is the ONLY sure way not to get pregnant.
