As you probaly can tell i'm very very new here and I have a question I wish to be answered soon if anyone can help.

Well I was wondering if my girlfriend might be pregnant.

First off we have never had sex and I have never came on her vagina. I have been careful to not insert fingers into her when I fell a wetness and to in an area not near her vagina.

However about 3 weeks ago I ejaculated and it landed on her stomach around her belly button. I wipped it off and we continued with what we were doing.

I only state that because she worries that could have been a risk. However she was not naked at that time (she only had her shirt off).

Also we do mess around sometimes with less clothing. Usually she will get naked and I will usually just strip down to my boxers. We have dry humped this way but I never ejaculated like this but most likely there was precum.

Anyways the reason I ask this is because she is about 1 week late on her period and she is worried. She says she thinks she has some symptons of pregnancy. She said she has to pee a lot (just today though) and yesterday she said her breasts were sore. However I think she may just be paranoid and so a bit exagerative on these claims. She also had stomach aches for a few days about a week ago but they have gone away. Odd thing is these signs never happen in the same day and have never happened together.

And so these are, in a nutshell, the facts of my problem :

1. Never had sex or penetrated her.
2. Never came on her vagina.
3.There may have been slight precum exsposure but not direct exsposure.
4.She is 1 week late on her period and might be showing some pregnancy signs but these signs never last long and never happen at the same time nor are they severe. Probally only noticable if you were worried of being pregnant.

So what are the chances of getting pregnant by precum? (I hear precum has no sperm in it unless stray sperm still resides in the penis after prior ejaculation)

And just because i'm interested what are the chances of getting pregnant by penetration on the first attempt? (I only ask this because I have a friend who did so with no protection but him and her girlfriend were fine)

And also does virginity affect chaces at all or is that false?

You cannot get pregnant without having intercourse.

If your girlfriend is not on birth control, her periods may not be regular...so she may just not have had her period yet this month...otherwise a bladder infection can cause a missed period.

Okay thank you. Yes I know that may have sounded a bit ignorant (which it did) but me, being a paranoid person, just wanted to make sure.

Any other information from anyone would be helpful as well.

If you have never had sex with this girl or have ejaculated into her vagina, there is no way she is pregnant, BY YOU. If she thinks she is having symptoms of pregnancy and her period is late, then she needs to take a test. She could very well be pregnant by somebody else. I just don't see any way of a person getting pregnant who has not even had sex.

No such thing as a stupid (or ignorant) question...It just educates you.

If you want more professional advice, perhaps visit your local planned parenthood. They can give you alot of information about safety.

Well thanks alot for the information. Once again I get paranoid sometime so I need some advice. Also I was taught in school that there are chaces of precum pregnancy and they made it seem like it happens often.

But once again thank you for the advice (I didn't expect this place to actually provide quick and easy advice) and i'm sure she is just late (I doubt she has cheated on me. We have been going out for about 3 years and are engaged to be married soon. I also spend most of my time with her and I dont think we have ever had any really hard spots in our relationship or any period of breakup.)

But now i'm indulging too much in my personal life. lol.

I commend you for waiting until marriage for intercourse. That is a very difficult decision. And concern is normal... And precum COULD cause pregnancy if there was penetration. She cannot get pregnant through her bellybutton. Good luck to you and you're future wife.

I also commend you for waiting until you get married to have sex. She's just probably late...if she's having sore breasts, this is always an indicator for me that I'm about to start my period. Good luck, also, with your marriage...and if ya'll want to be absolutely sure, go out and buy a home pregnancy test...but if you two have not had sex, there's no way she's pregnant.

While I am a very sexual person I do find it easy to wait to have sex. We do engage in everything else besides sex so we are both satisfied.
