    Free ask an ob gyn
I am 40 years old and have restless leg syndrome. I am thinking about getting pregnancy with my new husband and am very concerned about my restless leg. I am aware I can't take Mirapex while being pregnancy. What can I do with this while pregnant. I can't sleep at all if I do not take the medication and sometimes it doesn't even work. What are my options I am very concerned.

Magnesium should help tremendously. Foods rich in magnesium are:
Greens, berries, wheat germ, grains, nuts, cornmeal, apples, apricots, oats, pears, pecans, spinach, tofu, lentils, honey, fish, cabbage, avocados, cashews, peas, prunes, chard.

You can also take a magnesium supplement, which in the right doses is safe for pregnant woman. You can ask your doctor for a safe dose that you can take. If your doctor is ignorant, try asking a natural doctor.
