Yea it takes a while but if I was you in will got to the docs and get a blood test done in a couple weeks

I have taken pregnancy tests when neither line showed up. Those things can be very accurate or just screwed up! I would see the doctor and ask them to test again. And also, I would like to give you a bit of advice. Don't get married just because you're pregnant. It might be worse on the kid in the long run.

First of all, what time of day are you taking the HPTs? Using first morning urine is most accurate.

How late is your period? Many times the HPT will not show up positive until you are 4 - 12 weeks pregnant no matter what the tests say.

Taking blood a week after having sex will most likely show a negative as it takes quite a while for the corpus luteum to begin producing hCG when pregnant.

Understand that it takes about 3 days from the sperm meeting the egg before th egg moves down the fallopian tube to implant itself into the uterus.

It is the fetus or what is called the zygote at this stage that is what produces the hormone hCG. Unless this is developed to a certain extent, you will get a negative whether it be a blood test or a urine test. Many doctors will not even attempt to test until you are 2 - 3 months late for your period.
