could i be expecting twins

If the implantation bleeding takes more than 15 days could it mean that i'm expecting twins, or is just not normal to go for that long, i waiting for the bleeding to end before i can take a pregnancy test.

I had spotting that lasted a long time, longer than a normal period and it was my first irregular period it was brown/pink blood and I had light cramps. I was not prengnant but had ovarian cysts and had to get a vaginal (pelvic) ultrasound. Finally the cysts came out on there own later through vaginal blood clots, ruptured cysts. It was not painful but just something new and I though I could be pregnant. Implantaion bleeding only lasts 1-2 days only. Some people has longer than that but this SUPER rare. My firiend just had twins but she stopped her period and never had implantation bleeding or spotting. She just stopped for 9 months! No one that I know has ever had impantation bleeding because it only happens once in s blue moon. Spotting can be caused from weight gain, being overweight, stress, ovarian cysts, fybriod tumors or it could just happen normally. Usually in pregnancy bleeding can be a miscarriage or eptopic pregnancy but ususally women do not have implantation bleeding, it happen is less than 5% of women and lasts 1-2 days. I don't know anyone who has EVER had spotting during pregnancy. I have had a lot of irregular periods lately like you... I had spotting for 2 weeks and then it went away and then my period DID NOT come for 3-4 months and then I had more spotting. You really need to see a doctor because it could be normal or if you are overweight/underweight or have some cysts also...

Another thing is spotting like that could mean you are not ovulatiing which means it would be VERY hard to get pregnant because you can't get pregnant without ovulating. A healthy period is imprtant for fertilization and cleaning your body out! It is possible to get pregnent but not likely. I was told that I was not ovulating and since my period which used to be normal is irregular a lot and I have spotting it would be hard. This is true because I have been trying for a long long time and can't get preggie..

First let's understand that Implantation Bleeding has not been scientifically proven.

If you have been bleeding for 15 days, you should be making a doctor's appointment to see what is happening. Bleeding for 15 days does not mean that you are having twins, but could be quite the opposite actually.

Please make a doctor's appointment to find out what is going on. Whatever info you do get here could be harmful to your health as we do not know your history and have not done a physical. So all of your answers will be guesses at best.
