Could doctor/ultrasound be wrong? Am I 11 weeks or really 14 weeks pregnant?
My periods come between the 18th and 20th of the month. I definitely had a period Feb. 18, 2012, I don't remember for sure if I had one in March, and I definitely didn't have one in April. According to online pregnancy calculators if I had my last period Feb. 18 then I conceived around March 3 and Im due Nov. 24. If I had my last period March 18 then I conceived around April 3 and Im due Dec. 24.

I wanted to get an ultrasound as early as possible so I did the #1 thing you shouldn't do and lied to my doctor saying I have irregular periods, don't have any idea how for along I could be, and that the only thing I know for sure is I couldn't have gotten pregnant before March 2nd. When I went to the doctors yesterday June 29, 2012 for my first ultrasound the doctor said that I am 11 weeks, conceived around April 24th and Im due Jan 14, 2013.

Now Im going around in circles in my head about how far along I am, when I got pregnant, and when I am due. The most accurate way to tell how far along I am, when I conceived, and when I am due is by my last period right? The ultrasound could be off by a few weeks right? Im most likely 14 weeks not 11 weeks.

When I feel my uterus while laying on my back I feel the top of it at my belly button... If that helps give any estimated time of where I am at in this pregnancy. Also. The doctor tried to hear the heartbeat 2 days before and couldn't get one and said that you can't hear one until 10 weeks which is another reason she had me come in yesterday for an ultrasound. Could the baby have been in a weird position and that's why we were not be able to hear its heartbeat. She did say 2 days later I was 11 weeks..

Anything advise, comments, etc. helps. Thanks..

The ultrasounds can tell how far along you are by the baby's growth and development

When I first found out I was pregnant and got the ultrasound they saidbI was only 6 weeks and due August 30th but my own calculations from my LMP said my due date would be August 18th, that's a week or two weeks behind. My doctor goes by my LMP but as my baby grows he ends up being the amount of weeks as my LMP dates which right now my baby is 37. So I'm not sure maybe the baby is big
