Conception Date

I had unprotected sex on Jan. 13th. On Jan. 17th my period began which lasted 6 days. Later in the month my husband and I again had unprotected sex. Our first prenatal visit is still weeks away and we are curious as to which date may be our actual conception date. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

So you got a possitive pregnancy test and already have a prenatal visit set up? If your last period was on the 17th of jan, then your conception date was most likely jan 31, meaning you are in your 7th week of pregnancy. Congrats!

Conception usually takes place about 2 weeks after the first day of your last period, making your conception date 31st Jan.
