I have had a child by C-section that I feel was not done properly. 9 months later I got pregnant again and then had a miscarriage at about 14 weeks. Since then I have noticed that my periods have been heavy and have contained clots. I have had smear tests and examinations by my doctor but they can find nothing wrong.

We conceived the first child very easily and the second one was soon after. However, since then it has been a year of regular sex without protection and there has been no further conceptions.

Do you have any suggestions as to what could be going on?
