Cervix Pain?

It's me again guys...quick question, I'd like to hear your thoughts and inputs I'm 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant and off and on today I've been experiencing shooting pain that seems to be coming from my cervix/vaginal area. Is this normal? It almost feels like poking your self in the belly button at times or, for lack of better phrasing, sex that is too hard...any thoughts? Thanks guys!

Most likely just stretching and growing. As long as you are not getting any bleeding or cramping all should be well.

This is most likely due to a hormone called Relaxin that is actually relaxing your pelvic area. In time you'll feel similar in other areas of your pelvis.

Just remember that the hormone called "Relaxin" is actually relaxin everything down there. Sometimes that comes with pain sometimes it doesn't. I would advise you to call the nurse on friday just to see if the doc wants to check you out.

Sounds like a plan! I hope it's nothing serious!

Really shouldn't be, but your doc will know for sure. Since you did have a miscarriage he most likely will want to see you.

It could be round ligament pain caused by the relaxin. That hurts alot. I had that with all my kids. It's really hard when you can't walk or have to sit down before you fall because of it. Now that only happened to me with the twins.
