Hello all! I have a question about my periods. I AM sexually active, and my period is due sometime around...right now. We do use condoms, however no pill. I have been having brown..almost spotting. It's not a flow like a regular period. This started Saturday morning, and ended on Tuesday. No flow the whole time, just minimal spotting. Usually by now I would have started my period. I was wearing tampons, just in case, (I'm always in class, and I would rather be safe then sorry!), but they seemed to be unnecessary. Whenever I take out the tampon it has very very small amounts of brownish...stuff on it. I know I need to see a doctor, I have an appointment scheduled! Until then, any ideas about what could be going on? Anything would be greatly appreciated!

i have this issue all the time.although it is extremely annoying it is very common.when i wasnt trying to get pregnant it was always scary(omg im pregnant!!!) still not a bad idea to see your doctor for peace of mind.i had the same issue for 3 months in a row but still after taking about 8 home preg.tests they were negative and then went to the doctor where another one was done and still negative. just was told it was normal.hope this helps.by the way i am a mother of 3 kids,but no doctorha
