Can you get pregnate half way through you period

I had intercourse on the 3rd day of my period and my boy friend cam inside of me. I have a normal period that last 7 days and after we had sex I stopped bleeding and haven't since. Could you get pregnant from that? I also got my IUD out 4 months ago and my last period was 2 weeks late.

You can get pregnant any time of the month. It all depends on when you ovulate. Yes, you can ovulate during your period. It's not common, but it can happen.

Unless you know exactly when you ovulate, you should never have unprotected sex, even during your period. Actually, even if you do know when you ovulate it's not a good idea to have unprotected sex. We gals have strange bodies. Things can change from month to month.
