can i be pregnant on the mirena?

i am 20 years old and have been on the mirena since the 3rd march since then i have split with my partner nad am now with guy and very settled and happy accept i have irregular bleeding i at first put this down to having sex more often and him being more endowded then my ex! but it has continued i am also very tired and feel terribly sick all the time mainly in the morning. i quite a busty lady natually but they do seem swollen. not sure if this is all side affects or what! please help!!!

There is a remote possibility that you can be pregnant while having an IUD. Yes, it can and does happen in rare instances. Would suggest you check with your doctor to be sure and have the IUD removed if you are pregnant.
