You need to wait at least 1 week after you miss your period before you test, make sure you use the first urine you pass when you wake up in the morning. if that is negative and you still don't get your period, wait until you are 10 days late and ask the doctor to take a pregnancy blood test, it is more accurate than a home urine test and your hormones may be slow to build up high enough to show positive on a urine test. here is some ******baby dust****** for luck, hope it works.
