| Sorry Myth, but it does change the nipple permanently. The baby is suckling and streching out the nipple. Unfortunately it does not return to pre-pregnancy state.
I was very self conscious after I nursed my first and asked my plastic surgeon about it (cancer reconstruction). He told me that it is a permanent change and one that is impossible to fix without major reconstruction. In my case, breast cancer, the nipple had to be completley removed and a new one created. |
