So if i'm reading correctly, you havent had a period since June, right?
If so, I think its time to go to the doctor and get tested by him/her. Some women go through a whole 9 months of pregnancy and
never show positive on an HPT. Its insane huh? It does happen! At least if you get checked out by a doctor your mind will be at ease, whether it is positive or negative, and you will know why this is going on.
If it is negative, you can probably blame these symptoms on PMS. The hormones in your body that are present right before you start your period can account for the sore breasts. That is a common symptom of PMS.
To answer your other questions, it is best to wait 14 days past your missed period to take an HPT. Since you are well past that 14 days, I would recommend paying a visit to your doctor. Also, you dont have to be an certain number of weeks before it shows up on a test, but like I said you have the best chance 14 days after your missed period.
See your doctor
