i had sex on 24th feb my periods are irreguar so i didnt use any contreception i have been worried ever since.. although i am on my period (i started saturday 3rd march) it has been very weird at 1st it started off like spotting a very light pink colour along with a light brown discharge and there woz hardly nefing there but now its got darker and looking mre like a period but still is not like my regular period because i am usualy rele heavy covering the hole pad but now its only a little bit but still dark in colour.. im gettin pregnancy symtoms like headaches, bloated, needing to pee frequently, stronger appetite (but i feel full after eatin a little bit nd den feel sick after) also i get lower backpain and can sometimes feel a slight butterfly feeling in my abdomen also my breasts appear more swollen and my nipples av darkened in colour and the bumps around them are more noticeable.. ive taken a preggers test and it came out negative.. im jus rele confused as to whether im pregnant or not even tho iv got my "period" cud i still be pregnant and take anuva test soon? if it turns out negative agen what shall i do if these symtoms progress?? please write back 2 me fanx alot xx

have you ruled out the possibility that you acquired an STD?

if thats not realistic, I would reccomend taking another test, or going to a doctor and getting a test professionally done, just so that you know for sure.

Take another test in 1 weeks time, make sure you use the first urine you pass when you waker up in the morning. if that is negative and you stillhave the bleeding, ask the doctor to take a pregnanncy blood test to check. Some women can have what is called early pregnancy bleeding, although not common doeshappen.

Pregnant women dont get periods, if it is like your period, it most likely is. The symptoms of pregnancy are often very much like pms symptoms. Take another test, but I would imagine it will come out negative. If you dont want to get pregnant you really need to use protection next time, it will save all the worry.

True they don't get periods as such, but can get5 early pregnancy bleeding or implantation bleeding, which can be confusing.

Implantation bleeding is spotting, anything heavier than that needs to be checked out by a dr immediately. Some women get what they believe to be periods throughout their whole pregnancy, but it is a very very small amount of women.

Your probly jsut stressing your body into doing wird things. Just get a test in a week or go to the docs and get it done. You should probly get tested for stds to just incase.

hiaa justt saw your question and i thought ide just say..dont worry im in the same position..i havent been using contraception with my boyfriend recently and i have had slight bleeding but more of a brownish colour that only lasted for a day and i havent come on my period since then..i am also 15..soo dont worry you aint thee onlyy onee..im getting a pregnancy test done on thursday too see what that says..im soooo scared!!..

hi rosie thanx 4 tha responce i feel mre comfortable nw coz im nt like tha only 1 now.. well lemme kno how u get on nd i hope fings work out ok 4 u.. i jus came off my "period" 2day lasted 4days but still nt like my normal period jus propa weird nd i have been experiencein light spottin wich i neva get after my period :S so all very weird i am probs takin anova test saturday mornin or sunday nd no matter what the result i will prob go back 2 tha docters anyway coz all dese changes in my bod isnt like me coz like i kno my bod v well lol.. nd all these preggers symptoms aswell just dunno wot 2 fink its all very confusin.. but anyway lemme know how yu get on hun xxxxxxxxx
