I'm 20 years old and my period is regularly every 28 days. I was supposed to start on April 15 and I feel as though I'm going to start. I have been bloated and crampy, im irritable and my back aches but still no period. I am not more nuseas than normal and my breasts aren't tender so I have no idea what is going on (I've never been pregnant before). I am not trying to get pregnant. My boyfriend and I don't use protection but he pulls out and we've never had a scare. I don't feel as though I'm more stressed than usual but at the same time I don't know how to react in this situation. I took a hpt yesterday (day 7) and it was negative. PLEASE HELP...

are you on the pill? sometimes if you miss a pill or two it can throw your cycle off. Wait a couple more days and take another pregnancy test. And just as a work of advice, if you dont want to get pregnant then use birth control. I got pregnant with my first daughter by " pulling out"

I was on the pill for about six months but that was over a year ago. I'm really nauseas right now and the smell of some foods turn me off! I took another test and it is negative still. I called the doctors but they can't get me in untill Saturday (its wednesday). If the tests are all negative could I still be pregnant?

It's more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. Just wait to see your dr. They will have the answers! And like above said if you don't want to get pregnant get on some BC!!!!!

what kind is best!? I was on the pill and it made me hungry and gain weight. Also I heard of some that cause getting pregnant to be a challenge

You need to talk to your dr. there are 100's of diffrent BC's. The first one you try usually is not purfet. It takes a few trys to find one you like. Since your having unprotected sex I assume you have both been tested?? I really urge you to get on some form of BC. Also as for getting pregnant. It will take awhile for the BC to get out of your system so that can slow the pregancy process down in some women but for others the first month off of the stuff they get knocked up. Good luck and let us know what the dr. says. There are alot of reasons why you have not gotten your period other than being preggers!

What are some of the reasons? I know stress can cause it but last week I was fine it wasn't untill I realized I'm more than a week late that I started stressing about it.

Endometriosis, Polsy cystic overian syndrom, weigh loss, weight gain, exersise, hormones, there are alot of things that cause weoman to not have a period. So it's really best to see your dr. for an answer. The Prego tests you took were they first responce ones? It could still be to early to have enough hormones in your urine to show up. Did u use first morning's urine?
