i am 15 weeks pregnant and im getting bigger but i havent gained a pound all preg. ive really lost 4 lb. but my belly is still getting bigger is this right
It is ok for you to still be losing your weight while the baby gains. It depends on your size and weight, of course. If you are a little over weight then you are fine. Now if you only weigh say 100 lbs and are really tall then I would bring it up with your doctor. None the less you can ask your doctor what a normal amount for you to gain or lose is. Don't worry too much about your baby, if your stomach is growing then your baby is too. Have you had a first appointment yet? I wouldn't be concerned at 15 weeks. I didn't start gaining any weight till 19 weeks and I was pretty small to begin with.
yeah ive seen the dr. but i also have a kidney sone and some kind of infection that causes prmature labout and i have to go every 2 week insteed of every month and there giveing me an ulta sound next week to make sure everything is ok
I lost almost 10 lbs in my first 3 months of pregnancy, but I was heavier to begin with, so my doctor told me not to worry and keep eating healthy. I know my weight loss was because I totally changed my diet when I found out I was pregnant. As long as your baby is growing (belly getting bigger) everything should be fine! Good Luck.
