spa gfci trips constantly

I just wired a new spa and the gfci keeps tripping. I know I wired it correctly, It is 6-3 wire with ground The 50 amp gfci subpanel is hot. Every time I try to power up the gfci trips. Any ideas?

Kill the power, and take your volt meter and check the continuity between the power legs and ground. Then go to the heater and check for resistance from each of the power legs to ground. You should find your problem. Most of my spa problems have been the heaters they may still work, but they leak voltage to ground and are not safe anymore.

Possibly not wired right. Probable issues are with line and load neutrals not being kept separate EVERYWHERE. Needs some pics on how the spa panel is wired an how the feed is wired. Use go advanced/manage attachments to post.
