Relocating Pool Plumbing, Copper To PVC?

I need to relocate my original 35+year old pool plumbing (1.5 & 1.25 copper lines) to a new yard spot. Can I cutoff the copper lines next to the decking and use an adapter fitting or sweat fitting to convert to PVC? Also, I will need to change piping direction so I thought of using 90-degree PVC sweep fittings to make the turn smooth with a minimum of friction and pressure loss? Thanks in advance for everyone’s help!
