Preparing for a Future Hot Tub on Patio

I'm looking to prepare a patio for future hot tub install. Do I just need to have a 220 V electrical outlet on the back porch for it. It would be placed on a covered patio. I'm going to be building a house soon so what do I need to make sure and do now if I am able to add a hot tub in the future. Thanks...
