pool liner

OK-so we were trying to get a good deal and we ordered the wrong size pool liner. Of course, the company we bought it from doesn't even offer the size of above ground pool that we have. We got a 15' x 60" overlap liner. We have (from our last measurement) a 16' x aporx. 50" pool. Can we use the liner we received, and if so, what would be any problems we might run into? Hubby is worried that the circumference will effect the integrity. I just want the kids back in the water. The kids are anxious to given that it is July. Any advise is appriciated.
