Plastered in drain

I had my pool replastered at a discount in 2001 and really didn't know much about pools anyway, but now in 2006, I am getting a much better understanding. I believe these guys plastered over my main drain at the bottom of the pool and I can't use the drain at all. What steps do I need to do to fix this problem? It seems like my suction/ flow has seriously been compromised as well. Help in Houston!!!!!!!!!
