Hayward super pump

Just opened my pool, tried to turn on filter but all I get is a buzzing sound for about 7 seconds and then the breaker trips....any ideas? Pump shot? It's a hayward super pump model c48l2n

I've read elsewhere that it might be the starter capacitor which could be bad. Mine is doing the same exact thing, hums for about 7 or so secs., and breaker trips in the basement, and have to reset, 3 or 4 times for the motor to finally start. Once it starts it runs all day long. Have you found your issue? Maybe we can help each other..
