what would be the democratic future

If Obama beats Hillary and the allegations of him being socialist, communist, and wanting to sell America short with the globalization initiative.....proved to be true and say everybody turned against him would he still be the candidate running for the Presidency or would he be replaced by Hillary or what would happen?

Ron Paul does make a lot of sense to someone who respects the constitution and individual liberty. Democrats make no sense because they believe the constitution is whatever five supreme court justices say it is; and Democrats couldn't care less about individual rights. Folks, you will never hear a mainstream Democrat pay homage to the right to life, liberty, and happiness. But Ron Paul and many Libertarians run their own ship aground when it comes to the role of the US in international affairs. His foreign policy considerations sound like something from the 1820's. There is no more important issue in this election than foreign policy and the safety of the American homeland. I have listened to the Republican debates and never heard him address this. He has always sounded like a left-winger to me.

One thing Ron Paul did to garnish some support where I live, in Las Vegas, is that he wanted to do away with taxing tips. That's a big thing here since casino dealers make most of their living on gratuities. Also I really like what Paul and Huckabee suggested in abolishing the IRS. I'd much rather be taxed on what I spend, not on what I earn.

I agree; and if it were 1820, Paul might win.

If it were 1820 I'd vote for McCain, well maybe not.
