For instance, the community in which I work has had a large influx of Spanish-speaking residents. Thus, the library director hired a native-Spanish speaker to serve as liaison between these residents and the library, to introduce them to the library, to run story times in Spanish for their children, to offer ESL classes, etc. That was a "highly effective public administrative response." |
