Deputy Atty. Gen. James Comey vs. Alberto Gonzales

Bush administration on trial again; will it ever end?

Presidential candidate Barack Obama this morning called a secret Justice Department authorization for expansive use of the harshest interrogation techniques ever used by the Central Intelligence Agency "an outrageous betrayal of our core values, and a grave danger to our security."

Convenient timing by the NY Slimes. Right after Sen Lehey announced he was not inclined to pressure the Bush adm .during the new AG hearings viola ,a leak from the Chuck Schumer plant in the DOJ. Lehey ought to know better than to break from the NY Slimes party line!

It is not suprising that Obama seized on the issue either . Hillary has been flip-flopping on the torture issue since she broke ranks with hubby during the Tim Russert debate over the 'ticking time bomb 'scenario . She was for it before she was against it. Bill I feel your pain Clinton has previously said it was ok so long as there was a legal process behind it (like a DOJ memo perhaps ? )

But leave it to someone like Obama who has a snowball's chance in hell to get elected and will never have to face that decision to get on his high horse.

Yeah, it seems you don’t know who danced with whom until the party is over
