Give us more details. Does the bowl fill and then seep out? Does the water surface "bounce " up and down? Have you dropped something in the bowl lately? Come on! Give us something to work with here. Tom

Do you have a dog? It may be drinking the water from the bowl,, I just love this one.

There are three basic options. Bowl is being siphoned(vent problem or something has been droped in the toilet causing siphon), defective bowl, most common(Tom will describe this) or pets just using your toilet as a drinking fountain(uncommon, but I've seen it at least ten times(one of the times being my own dog))

After it's flushed the water level is very low. This just started, it's an older toilet, no obvious leaks. Searched here and found no answer. Thanks in advance for any help.
