Water pressure

I live in an apartment building. Lately taking shower is a real torture. The water doesn't have pressure, and you have to constantly play with the faucets to get the appropriate mixture of hot and cold water. This is not just in our apartment, it's in the whole building. It might be from antiquated pipes.
Is there any appliance, any product (maybe a tank) I can use to resolve the problem.

Thank you.
