Water Cut Offs

Where do I find the water valves to cut the water off to my existing tub? (Trying to replace the tub).

Looik for your shutoffs in a access panel behind the front of the tub. Another place to look is *** remove the handle and face plate from the tub valve and look at the joint the supplies connect to the valve. If you see fittings with slotted handles they are "screwdriver stops" that are built in to the valve. You may shut the water off there. Failing that there's still the house shut off. However, you don't need to shut the water off to replace a tub unless you're planing on replacing the valve also. good luck, Tom,
