    Washing machine water troubles
Hi just a question to see if anyone could help as to my problem with my washer. The last few days when running washer (cold water only) the water seems to take a very long time to fill. When the switch if flipped to warm/cold or any other combo. The water comes out fine. Just on cold cold does the water just trickle out . Any help? Thanks.

You've probably just got clogged filters.

Shut off the water to the washer and remove the hose from the back of it.

Either in the hose end or the washer side you should have a screen... usually cone shaped.

I think you'll find it clogged with sediment.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi yes it's a blockage, just clean those filters, if this won't sort the problem Take the pump off aand split it, its easy its held together with three clips, just relese the clips and remove the 50p piece & the nappi thats' in it and you problems should be ended.

    Good luck

I took the hose off and fount both ends were clogged with small sedements of dirt. I also noticed that the cold water pipe has lots of sediments around the threads where hose attaches... with problems I'm having with odor around pipes (I think) would it be necessary to replace the pipe itself??
Any ways thanks so my for your help.
