Want the water level in the Toilet Bowl
My crazy grandfather is hell bent on lowering the level of the water in the toilet bowl. Why... I don't have the faintest clue, but when he has something in his head he will not rest until he gets an answer and that is why I have to find out if this is actually possible? I know about the brick/stone/water bottle in the tank to conserve water, but I want to know if it is possible to actually lower the water level in the BOWL?

If you have any info on this please let me know for my sanity. Any websites or backup info would be great

    Thanks

To answer your question, Yes it's possible to lower the bowl level by removing the 1/8th" bowl fill tube from the white overflow pipe that connects to the flush valve and let it dangle in the tank.
However if you do this you will reduce the ability for a decent flush, especially if you have a newer 1.6 gallon toilet. I advise against it.

There is no way to lower the level of the water. The level is dictated by the height of the back of the built in trap as designed when the toilet is manufactured.
