Trying to replace a shower with a tub

Could anyone tell me how to replace my shower with a tub? My father said that it would be difficult, but a plumber that was out unclogging our pipes said that if the drains did not match up we could run extension pipes. My father says only if we build up the floor first.

I need to know the best way to do this job with the least trouble and money.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Take Care All-
Jodi

Hi Jodi,
If this is located under a cement floor then listen to Daddy and fire the plumber. Where's the shower located? Basement? First or second floor?
Before I can get more specific I need to know. Regards, Tom
