Tom & Marks Timely Tips

1. Smells and noises are the most difficult to track down if you're not there. While we can't pinpoint the source we can point you to the most likely offenders.

2. Tom's a Florida plumber. Heating and hot water boiler questions are out of his area of expertise. Click here for heating or boiler questions or you could ask Mark. Mark's a Yankee from Massachusetts.

3. There will be times, due to high traffic, that a post may get buried back on page 2 or 3. If that's the case just post again to remind us it wasn't answered and we'll jump on it ASAP.

4. Please do not E-Mail or PM your questions to us. It makes it more difficult to respond and slows down our respond time.

5. If you send us plans or I have to draw up some expect a delay. If the delay's too long repost and we'll bump you up.

6. It's difficult to estimate material and labor on your job without a wholesalers price list and the labor conditions, (union or nonunion) in your area so we don't attempt to do so.

7. Power Showers aren't common in the USA. Nether Mark or myself have worked on them as it takes a specially trained technician to tear into one.
