Toilet Has Black Stuff Growing in it
What would cause black slimy stuff to grow in my husband's toilet. I can clean it, and it begins to grow back in a couple of days. We have a septic tank. The toilet in the other bathroom (farthest from septic tank) doesn't have this problem. Nothing I clean with seems to stop the algae? From coming back. The house is selling and I have to be out in a few days, and I need HELP figuring out what to do. Thank you.

Look in the cistern (the tank behind the toilet). Is there mold in there, too?

If so, pour in some bleach, let sit over night. Flush, then clean out toilet.

It might be in there, and you keep re-seeding it.

Black stuff on toilet seat [ 1 Answers ]

Hi this sounds weird but I go to a university and I was in the restroom. After I finished up I turned around to flush the toilet and noticed some sticky looking black stuff on the seat. Two parts: moving toilet over 4" and connecting to 4" black plastic to make shower [ 3 Answers ]

Hi friends, I have a concrete slab foundation. In one full bath, I'm changing out the tub to put in a sauna tub, going from 60x30 to 60x32. The toilet is right next to the tub, so I want to move the toilet over at least 4" and change the sink to a pedastal sink to make room for the move for...
