Hollow/echoing pipe sounds never heard before

I've lived in my house 6 years and know all its "sounds". About 2 months ago, when any water drains from the upstairs (toilet, tub, washer) the upstairs shower has a very loud hollow/echoing sound when the water is draining that I've never heard before. Is this a problem or nothing to worry about?
Thanks.
