I have a project I'm thinking about doing.

I want to swap my shower and toilet. First of all is this possible.
My house is on a concrete slab, and I don't want to move any drains.

I just want to know, are the drains at about the same size to do this.
My shower drain is in the center, and the toilet drain is about 13 - 14 in from the wall.
The new shower area drain is OK where it is and I can make it work.
The new Toilet area has plenty of room in the back for where the drain is.

Usually the toilet is on a three or four inch drain pipe with a special mounting flange and no trap underneath it, whereas the shower is on a one and one-half or two inch pipe that has a trap to keep sewer gasses from coming back out the drain. The problem with switching isn't just the location, it's the size of the drain pipe and the presence or absence of a trap and vent pipe. The toilet needs a bigger pipe and doesn't need a trap, but the shower does. You'd really have to rip up the floor and re-plumb both drains--a big job in a slab built house.
