    Submersible water pump trouble
I have been having trouble with my water so I bought a new water pump, it's the submersible type for a well. The water would work for a short time then just stop. The new water pump does the same thing. I can't find anyone who can tell me what the problem is. The bladder tank pressure is reading 32 empty. Can anyone give me any suggestions? I'm desperate. Thanks

    1. How far down is your pump?
    2. Have you been experiencing drought in your area?
    3. What are your cutin/cutout points for the switch?
    4. Do you know the depth of the water table?

Is the pump shutting off, or continuing to run, but not delivering any water?

The pump is 100 ft down, no drought, plenty of water in the well. Cutin/cutout is 60/40. Water table is about 60 ft. The pump is shutting off, after it pumps up, it doesn't run continuously. Then there will be water for a few minutes then it will stop. If you shut the electric off to the pump or wait awhile it will then pump back up again and have water for a few more minutes then stop again.

I would start with the switch. If the contact points are closing, then the pump should come on. If it doesn't, then clean the contact points (with the power turned off) and try again.
