    Stopped up toilet
I have a toilet that keeps stopping up. I auger it and it becomes unstopped. What is causing it to keep getting stopped up. It's the only toilet in the house that does that.

Some have a low water level, some have a narrow passage, some have a defect in the passage, some will not take 2 ply paper, some are choked by the plastic insert in the upgrade wax ring and vacuum lock, some do not let the tank drain enough, and some are simply a poor toilet.

You may need to take the toilet up and inspect the trap. I had a on again off again toilet that would totally plug and the total clear itself. After weeks of tryingg different fixes I took a look at the toilet from the underside. I found a tin lid from a juice can caught in the trap. It made a perfect flutter valve.
