Standards for toliet installation & partitions?

What is code for distance between wall and back of toliet tank? How much room minimum allowed between front of toliet bowl and partition door? How much minimum allowed between front of partition door and wall outside of stall? Does not need to meet handicapped requirements... Urgently need to know, I believe plumber made major mistake and need corrected to open doors for business! HELP

Hey Cheer,

There is no code for the distance between the back of the tank and the wall. This is determined at the time of the rough in. To check the rough in distance, measure the distance between the closet bolts and the wall. You should get a reading of 11 1/2" to 12". As for the enclosures, they're installed after we are done installing the toilets. Get a copy of local codes from your local building department or you might go out and measure other commercial installations. good luck. Tom

Thanks to you

Thank you for your time. I am learning! This has become a nightmare. And all I wanted to do was open a place for cheerleaders to practice...
