    Stanadyne shower diverter
    My stanadyne shower diverter leaks. How do I take it apart?

    Take off the knob and escucheon plates. You can use a pair of channel locks, but they do make stem-removing tools. Take out the stem and the seat that you will find directly behind the stem. Replace both parts.
