soap suds coming out of the faucet
We have a septic and well system.
We washed dishes in our double sink and soap suds came up the other side. The weird thing is that soap suds then came out of the cold water faucet but not the hot. (It is a single lever faucet.) I ran the disposal to rid the second sink of suds. I then ran the cold water for a few minutes. No more suds out of the faucet now. But why did we get soap suds coming out of the cold water line? Thank you.

Suds came up through the sink drain or the faucet??

Unless you have a cossconnection, ( and it doesn't appear so,) this is impossible. Perhaps some soap suds got on your aerator but I doubt very much it came out of the faucet- Regards, Tom
