Smell from standing water

I have a leaking pipe under my house. There is a terrible smell I think is from the standing water. I cant have a plumber out here till Saturday. What can I put on the standing water to get rid of the smell?

i would use bleach to kill the bacteria. can you stop using the water in the area of the leak?
