Slow running hot water in the tub and shower
:( My shower and tub hot water runs with very little pressure. The house is only two years old. I have checked for clog pipes or screens. This only happens to the bathroom.

Did you take the valves that run slow apart and check and clean the inlet ports or seats? While you had the valve apart did you turn the water back on to flush out the supplies and to check the pressure? Back to you. Tom

If it's only two years old, then you should have a pressure balancing valve -- Meaning cold and hot water are mixed in the valve to a preset temperature to avoid scalding if there is a change in pressure in the system.

Likely, the cold inlet side of the valve or cartridge is plugged with debris, thus reducing the volume of water allowed to mix on the hot side.

I would suggest replacing the cartridge and balancing spools.

If you do this, you should flush out the valve body by turning the water on, with the parts removed, for about ten seconds before installing the new parts.
