Does my deceased father still have his 401 k, his name is Verle Lander, he says he was leaving it to me before he died.

If your name is listed as his beneficiary then yes, but was his job and his plan administrator notified of his death? Did he also have a will naming someone to handle his affairs upon his death? Was that YOU?
