I used the wrong adheasive for my ceramic tile and it won't dry
I used the wrong adhesive for the ceramic tile and it won't dry. ( Relia Bond) It is going over another ceramic tile. What can I do pull up the tiles, scrape of adhesive if I can and start with the right stuff?
Please help I need your advise.

    Hi stormy...

Reliabond is appropriate for this application as you present it....just takes 24-48 hours to dry completely.

What is the old tile flooring (tile, stone, etc.)? What is the new tile (ceramic, stone, etc.)? If you are trying to set stone tile on top of old tile that could be a problem. Post back with more information and we'll see what we can do, OK?

    Hi guys,

Although the specs say it can be used for ceramic over ceramic, mastics are a bad choice for any floor installation. You should use thinset mortar which only comes in a bag, it's powder.
