    Kenmore 70 hot water noisy
I've a strange situation. When my Kenmore 70 (whirlpool I suspect model 110.267... ) uses any hot water (warm or hot) then there is a very slow water input and a very loud noise. Turn it to cool and the water pours in and no noise. The noise usually take a few seconds to kick in - rather high pitched and surprisingly loud.

On a potentially related note the water input will drip / leak long after the cycle is over.

Would like to get this licked.

    Thanks

As a first check, take the hose off the hot water and clean out the debris screen in the opening. You may also want to inspect/replace the hose washer in the female end of the hose.

See if that doesn't help, you also may have water hammer in your line.
