    Septic just pumped & still having trouble
    Hi, I just had my septic tank pumped and when I flush my toilet my tub is still filling up with stuff (tp and poop), how can I fix this?

    It sounds to me like you have some drain clogging issues. If it's bad enough that toilet sewage is backing up into your tub, you're probably going to have to have the drain snaked. I assume that the stuff in your tub will slowly drain, right?

    The first thing I would do is open up the outside cleanout to see if the drain field's doing its job. Open up the cleanout and flush the toilet if the linefills with water then the problem's outside the house. If it starts to back up in the tub then snake the kine from the lavatory roof vent. Put out enough cable to get to the base and about 20 feet more. Now flush to test. Good luck, Tom
