    No hot water in tub
Hello, I'm wondering if there's someone out there that can help me. Recently, my bath tub upstairs stopped having hot water. Most of the time, it is only luke warm. It is heated through gas, and I turned the water heater up quite a bit and still no hot water. Hot water comes out fine in the sink in the same bathroom. Any suggestions?

What's the brand name of your faucet? One handle or two/three knobs? How old is it? Did this come on gradually or all of a sudden? I'll wait on your answer. Tom

Well, I'm not really sure what the name of the faucet is. But it is a one knob for hot/cold water. I guess it kind of happened suddenly. Sometimes there will be hot water, and other times not. But it is definitely not as hot as it should be. The house was built in 98, so I'm guessing it's about 8 years old. The hot water in the kitchen, and other bathrooms work fine. Even the sink in that same bathroom. Not sure what's going on.

    Thanks

Shut the water off to the faucet and pull the cartridge out. Check the inlet ports of the cartridge for blockage. Now, with the valve still open turn on the hot water and ,out the hot water supply line and reassemble. Better now? Regards, tom
