Shower making high pitch noise and knocking?
I appreciate that this problem has begun at the same time as the below zero temperature arrived in our area but this morning I was awoken by a loud screaming noise coming from the shower which was turned off at the time. I ran to the bathroom and turned the tap on which seemed to stop the problem but I noticed that the water pressure is about half what it normally is... Does this indicate a frozen pipe somewhere and what can I do about it?

My shower makes a high pitched whistling noise. This doesn't happen all of the time, and seems to be more pronounced when changing the temperature from hot to cold. It may come and go, or may make the noise during the duration of the shower. Any thoughts on what could cause this? Any help would...
